A woman named Anna Angel, ironically, needed an angel more than most could ever imagine. She got two. They didn’t fit the typical description of a flowing white robe and bright-shining halos over-head. Instead, she got Drake and Game, who banded together to help the woman through her most heartbreaking experience to date.

The Burger King employee from Ohio was at work while tragedy struck her home. The mother of five lost all her children and her boyfriend in a roaring house fire.

Game is the leader of an initiative called The Robin Hood Project. He plans to personally donate $1 million of his own money to those in need. He recently donated $10,000 to cover funeral costs for a 6-year-old who was shot and killed in Los Angeles. He plans on doing the same for Angel along with the help of Drake.

On Instagram, Game posted a picture along with the caption, “I can deal with a lot of things, but people losing their children is something that kills me every time.” Drake reposted the photo and announced the two would team up to cover the $22,500 funeral costs for Angel’s family, saying “What Game is doing will never be forgotten. Honored to be able to help people along side my brother.”

Good looks, gentleman. Good deeds like this are happening all the time with little recognition, even in our community. Do you know someone who’s doing great things to impact the Capital Region in a positive way? Nominate them for Hot 99.1’s Hometown Heroes now!
