French Montana has apparently squashed his beef with 50 Cent. Late last year the two had a heated exchange on twitter after Frenchy said Fif’s career was the result of high-profile feuds in a Complex magazine interview.

In recent months, French claimed the beef held back his career. Things are smooth now, though. In an interview with Shade 45, French said “Everything’s straight. We been making music. It’s good for hip hop.”

French also spoke on the ongoing 50 / Rick Ross beef. “At the end of the day, Ross my brother so I’m not going to play both sides of the fence, but you know where I stand at. We aint have no problem, we aint got no real beef, but you know where I stand at.”

French has the fire joint, “Freaks,” with Nicki Minaj in radio rotation and he’s prepping the release of his first major album. Excuse My French is scheduled to be released on May 21st.
