Meek Mill has put Philly hip hop back on the map. Back in the day, the city of brotherly love was well represented in the game with Rocafella artists, Freeway and Young Chris, formely of the group Young Guns. It was a beautiful era. Groups like Ruff Ryders, Murder INC and the R-O-C were KILLING it. With that being said, I felt a little nostalgic when I turned on 106 and Park last week.

Freeway appeared on the show and proved to everyone he’s still nice on the mic (he’s got what it takes, to roc the mic right!). The lyricist spit a freestyle, showing the younger generation that he’s not a veteran to be messed with.

Freeway has mentioned the possibility of a State Property 2 album happening. What gives, bruh? Get it done!
