Flavor Flav might have the opportunity to showcase his famous fried chicken recipe at the prison mess hall. The Public Enemy hype man will stand trial on two felony charges.

The catalyst of the charges was an incident that resulted in Flav threatening his girlfriend and her 17 year old son with a butcher knife. He’s facing charges of assault with a weapon and child endangerment.

If convicted, it’ll be a while before Flav will be able to see a few of his kids who live in the Albany area. Flav could face up to 12 years in prison if convicted. Much like his famous over-sized neck-piece, that’s a whole lot of “time”.
