FIST PUMP! Kanye Teams Up With Daft Punk

Kanye is getting all electronic, yo. Mr. West teamed up with the popular group, Daft Punk, for a pair of new songs designated for an upcoming project. Rolling Stone indicated that the magic happened when the two parties met up in Paris.

“At their Paris studio, they laid down a combination of live and programmed drums while Kanye worked out rough vocals on the fly. ‘It was very raw: he was rapping – kind of screaming primally, actually.’”

The article also revealed that a video for one of the songs will be released “soon.” Kanye has been a fan of the electronic duo for some time, even sampling one of their records for his 2007 smash, Stronger.
