Christmas came early for some lucky kids in New Jersey over the weekend. Hometown rapper Fetty Wap was a walking ATM as he handed out cash to young teens in Hackensack, N.J.
According to TMZ, the “Trap Queen” rapper was leaving his attorney’s office and he decided to randomly give money to kids who were hanging out nearby. The charitable act was captured on a video (watch above) and you can see the kids running up to receive a couple of bills from Fetty.
An eyewitness told the outlet that Fetty asked if the kids were in school, and if they said yes he would slide them a $100 bill. One kid reportedly walked away with $400. Ka-Ching!
Fetty was also purportedly in the neighborhood filming a segment for a VH1 reality show, possibly Love and Hip Hop. So there is a possibility that we might see this altruistic moment on the show.
Salute to Fetty Wap for making it rain on kids before they start school. They will certainly have a story to tell their teachers next week.
