Nagging rumors can be a nuisance especially if you are a rising rap star. Rapper Fetty Wap is fending off phony reports that he was jumped and robbed of his jewelry while appearing at Stadium nightclub in Washington, D.C., on Saturday (Aug. 23).

According to VH1, MediaTakeOut and other gossip blogs were reporting that the “Trap Queen” rapper was jumped by goons at the popular gentlemen’s club and almost had his weave (he has synthetic dreads) pulled out of his head. A video (see below) did surface of what looks like Wap being taunted by club patrons but no physical altercation occurred.

The New Jersey rhymer jumped on his Instagram account to shut down all the rumors. "I just heard that somebody pulled my f---ing hair out and I got robbed,” he said in the 15-second clip about the rumors. "Bitch where? Let me know. Tell me, please."

He also captioned the video “@mediatakeout suck my d---.”

Although Wap appears to be uninjured, there hasn’t been an official explanation of what really happened with him at Stadium.

If you recall, Stadium nightclub is the same venue where Drake flew into a rage and hurled a wad full of cash to possibly fight someone in the club.

Now that Fetty Wap is becoming a huge rap star, he has to be careful with how he moves or else these unfounded rumors will continue to stifle his career.
