There are plenty of ways to give back this holiday season in the Capital Region.
Price Choppers and Market 32s around the Capital Region are holding their Check Out Hunger campaign in conjunction with their annual Holiday Toy Drive.
This season, round up your change at Price Chopper and Market 32. By donating just a few dollars, you'll buy a food package for someone in need. Or, you can donate toys at any of the Price Chopper/Market 32 locations in the Capital Region. The toys will be distributed right back to the community's children in need. In addition, Golub is donating $1 to the Salvation Army for every donated toy.
This season, Price Chopper and Market 32 are making it easy to give a little something back.
Last year’s campaigns raised more than $42,000 and 26 tons of food that was distributed to a dozen area food banks, and more than 3,000 toys that were distributed locally.
