Preparations are still being made for the 43rd annual Equinox Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. They are still looking for food donations and volunteers to deliver the food.

Last year, 9,300 meals were served ath the First Presbyterian Church at Willett St. and State St. in Albany. The growing event is expecting to serve 9,500 people this year.

The one area they need serious help is driving. Volunteers will not be turned away on site, but the organization is seeking drivers to take meals to people who live within a 40 mile radius of Albany. 8,500 orders for delivery have already been placed.

If you’d like to get involved, call the Equinox Thanksgiving Dinner Hotline at 434-0131. Happy Thanksgiving from Hot 99.1!
