Eminem is one of the most influential rappers and now his legendary status is being set in stone -- literally.

Polish sculpter Aleksander Walijewski spent about 50 hours crafting Slim Shady's likeness in clay. He then covered it in gypsum casting to make it everlasting.

The 23-year-old relayed to MLive why he's such a stan for Slim Shady and how the rapper's liveliness led him to create the statue. "I was inspired by him performing at concerts, and from the beginning I knew that this pose [that I presented in sculpture] would be perfect because it's dynamic and full of energy, just like him on stage. I also wanted to show the focus and tension on his face, it's like one of those moments when he looks at the crowd that is screaming his name," said Walijewsk, who hopes he can present the sculpture to the the Detroit MC one day.

This isn't the first time the "Lose Yourself" rhymer inspired a fan across the seas to accomplish something extraordinary. Teejay Stainer, a 10-year-old kid from the U.K., was inspired by Em to overcome his difficulty walking since one of his legs were amputated at the age of two. “We have always taught him to listen to the lyrics and their meanings and as Eminem raps about surviving difficult times, it makes him feel brave,” said Teejay’s mother, Georgina, to the U.K.’s Daily Echo.

The 43-year-old rap icon sent the youngster a signed LP of a fittingly titled album of his -- Recovery. No word on whether the rhymer has seen Walijewski's masterpiece yet, but, in the meantime, check out the video showcasing the different shots of the sculpture above.
