Say what you want about YMCMB, but the crew sticks together. This weekend, Young Money queen Nicki Minaj surprised fans of Drake at the Wireless Festival in London, sending the crowd into a frenzy.Drake was rapping ‘Make Me Proud’ to an already appreciative audience, who were hanging on and reciting his every word. Then, during the “I’m so proud of you” reprise, Minaj emerged, bringing the screams to an ear-bleeding level. Drizzy didn’t announce Minaj, but really — the gal needs no introduction.

The performance was much better received than Minaj’s show at T in the Park in Balado, Scotland. Minaj was close to an hour late to start her set, which received lackluster reviews.

Like with her Drake guest spot, Minaj had no introduction this time: she simply rushed to the stage as soon as she got there and performed an abbreviated setlist, including ‘Starships’ and ‘Pound the Alarm’ (we hope Rosenberg wasn’t present). She performed for less than half an hour with no crowd banter before sprinting offstage at the conclusion of her hit-heavy, if short, showcase. One reviewer even claimed that Minaj got booed.

That’s no way to treat the Harajuku Barbie — especially considering the delay wound up not being her fault. T in the Park released a statement saying that Minaj’s flight was delayed, causing her to run late and have to shorten her set. We’re sure her beloved Barbz will forgive her!
