Drake's ankle injury from last week has resurfaced and the rapper has been forced to cancel the rest of his Summer Sixteen tour dates.

The OVO rapper has canceled the rest of the dates in Summer Sixteen tour, which comes on the heels of his announcement that he'll be headed to Europe early next year for The Boy Meets World Tour.

Drake announced last week that he was going to have to postpone a few dates due his ankle injury but seemed adamant about keeping as many dates as possible. But now, the rapper has made his injury worse, and doctors have told him to stay off of it. Check out Drake's official statement below via Pitchfork.

"Drake suffered a severe ankle injury during the tour which he did his best to power through. By doing this, he made his injury worse. Under doctors orders and to ensure Drake only ever gives fans the performances they deserve, he will be postponing the remaining 3 dates of his Summer Sixteen tour to allow him time to recuperate his ankle injury. Drake's fans mean the world to him. Seeing their faces and performing his music for them is what he loves to do the most and he can't wait to get back on stage."
