Spike Lee's 'Do The Right Thing' entered our lives as a trying tale of life in America for African Americans, and its message has stood the test of time.

Even after 30 years since the film's release date, so many of the themes presented within still resonate with so many to this day.

Is this film a reflection of the same narrative that we have in present-day America? It's hard to believe that this was produced 30 years ago. It will be interesting to watch this film and get a retrospective view of what shapes this country.

Do the Right Thing will be showing at the Madison Theater in Albany throughout the weekend.
