Last year, DJ Khaled signed a partnership deal on behalf of his label, We the Best Music Group, with Birdman’s Cash Money Records. Khaled has been building the roster ever since, most recently acquiring the talents of Hot 97’s DJ Bobby Trends.

They made the announcement via a viral video that was shot in Manhattan. Khaled’s speech was kinda bromance-ish. “I just want to let you know, I would love for you to be a part of We The Best Music.” He continued, “And we been friends, and we been brothers, and we been a team. And I feel like we’re on the same page. And it’s my job to bring all the winners together.”

Trends was very appreciative of the offer. “I have to say yes and I appreciate the gesture. And I’m gonna wear this logo strong. I need to be a part of this.”

Bobby will join a list of producers on the roster that includes The Renegades, The Nasty Beatmakers, Lee Major, The Chemist Music Group and Lee on the Beats. Rappers associated with the label are Ace Hood, Red Rum, Mavado, Nino Brown and Vado.
