Diddy has a new name -- you can call him Dr. Combs. The rap mogul received an honorary doctorate degree in humanities from Howard University during a commencement service on Saturday (May 10).

Dr. Combs also gave a rousing speech to the 2014 graduating class who were in attendance. According to eyewitnesses, Mary J.Blige, Jermaine Dupri and other celebs were in the audience as well.

"There is no homecoming, like a Howard homecoming; and it feels so good to be home," he said during his speech, where he received a standing ovation. "Only this family could take one of its sons, that has already had three name changes, and give him a fourth: Dr. Combs."

"The two years I spent at Howard were the best two years of my life. Once a Bison, you're a Bison for life. HU!" he continued.

Dr. Combs also encourage the Class 2014 to pursue their dreams because the world is theirs for the taking.

"Do you know how powerful you are? You will change the world," he said. "Take the craziest dream you have and make it a reality. I don't want you to just dream, I want you to do."

Then Dr. Combs offered three tips for success. He said:
