Ever since Dave Chappelle released the doc 'Block Party' in 2005, he's been heavily associated with hip-hop, so it makes total sense that he would recruit some of the game's biggest rappers and singers to join him onstage once more.

Starting June 23 at Radio City Music Hall, the beloved funnyman will pair up with Nas, who will be performing cuts from 'Illmatic' with a full orchestra.

The next night, June 24, Chappelle will share the stage with the Roots, who will most likely be playing a bunch of songs from their new album, '...And Then You Shoot Your Cousin.' Other acts to follow will include Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier, Janelle Monae and Erykah Badu.

Badu along with the Roots are known to be some of Chappelle's favorite acts, as they were also in the 'Block Party' film. In a recent interview on 'Late Show With David Letterman,' the 40-year-old-comedian said he was eager to work with Nas for his upcoming show, especially since its been two decades since 'Illmatic' dropped.

"It wasn't just about demand," he said. "It was an artist that I really wanted to work with. I'm a big fan of the hip-hop music. It's the 20th anniversary of arguably one of the best hip-hop albums ever made. The album is 'Illmatic;' the artist is Nas."

The full schedule of Chappelle's Radio City Music Gigs are as follows:
