'Dips---s' wasn't the only slice of 2000-era New York rap nostalgia we were blessed with yesterday. After delivering one of his legendary rants on Cam'ron and Juelz Santana's long-awaited reunion, Damon Dash dropped his own song with the help of another deadly Harlem duo, Jim Jones and Smoke DZA.

First thing's first, 'Don't Get Scared' is an incredibly ironic title as you'll most definitely be left cowering in a corner like so many music executives were in Dame's prime. The former Roc-A-Fella mogul lets Kush God and Capo warm us up like a couple of junkyard dogs before sending us home beaten, bruised and in tears.

"If you've been pretending you're cooler than you are, if you've been trying to act like you're richer than you are, if you've been acting like a boss and you've been dressing funny and you've been shaving your mustache and s--- like that," he rants, calling out the "squares" and "nerds" (read: anyone not named Dame Dash).

No word on where this song will end up, but it looks like Dame and The Diplomats are planning to reclaim New York City as their own this summer -- and we'll happily bow down.
