Rapper Coolio hasn’t dropped any new or substantial music in a long time. It seems as if his recent endeavors have revolved around politics. TMZ caught up with Coolio outside of LAX over the weekend to talk about a few topics, including his thoughts on Eminem’s latest album Revival.

Prior to sharing his thoughts about Slim Shady, Coolio made it known he doesn’t believe the majority of the artists of this generation aren’t willing to talk politics. “People don’t wanna talk about nothing these days, they just wanna party, have fun, and bullshit,” said the 54-year-old emcee said. “No one wants to hear anything that stimulates your thoughts.”

After his statement, Coolio acknowledges and salutes Eminem for directing his bars towards the current political climate (Trump). He just hopes Marshall’s life isn’t in jeopardy. “He’s (Trump) a weirdo. He might do anything. Ain’t no telling. He might have Eminem killed" says the "Fantastic Voyage" rapper. "You never know. Don’t be surprised if Eminem comes up dead.”

Trump hasn’t (surprisingly) clapped back at Eminem directly for his blistering 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards freestyle, but it’s hard to tell if Coolio is serious with his assessment about how petty Trump can be. As of lately is seems that Trump’s Twitter beefs tend to be directed at people of color, athletes and women.

Last month, the “Gangsta’s Paradise” rapper announced his intentions to actively run in 2020 as a Vice Presidential candidate along with running mate, adult film actress Cherie DeVille. As bizarre as this sounds, take a moment consider the man currently sitting in the Oval Office. Anything is possible.

Do you think Coolio is serious? Should Shady protect his neck?
