It seems like some beloved restaurants are just not able to fade away in Colonie. Grandma's didn't stay closed for long, neither will DeMarco's.

A restaurant that you may have not even known about due to its appearance from Central Avenue will be re-opening. DeMarco's servers an Italian American cuisine that a restaurant staffer in the area just couldn't see disappear. June 29th was the last day the business was in operation.

John Caccese has procured ownership of the Italian eatery and has said he plans on keeping the business much the same. The welcoming atmosphere will not be going away. The other thing he plans on keeping is the hearty portions the restaurant has been known for.

Being that Italian is one of if not my favorite cuisines, I will have to check out DeMarco's soon and see what it is all about.
