Chief Keef Joins Gucci Mane’s Brick Squad Roster
The 'Lemonade' rhymer went on Twitter Wednesday (May 8) to announce his partnership with the Chi-town artist. "Chief Keef newest member of Bricksquad 1017 bmg gbe mpa #turnup," he tweeted.
It's unclear what this unified merger is all about. Is Keef actually signed to Mane's 1017 Brick Squad Records or is it just their respective cliques partnering up?
Mane, who is signed with Warner Bros. Records, is the leader of 1017 Brick Squad, while Keef, who is signed to Interscope Records, is the head honcho of Glory Boyz Entertainment.
Keef reposted Mane's photo on his Instagram page with the caption, "#WhatTimeItIs?1017" to let fans know he's ready to turn it up.
Mane and Keef have one major thing in common: they both can't seem to stay out of legal trouble.
La Flare was just released from jail after violating probation for allegedly assaulting a club patron with a champagne bottle. Meanwhile, Keef returned home in March after serving two months in a juvenile detention for a parole violation.
Let's hope these two men can stay locked up in the recording studio and not in a correctional facility.
In the meantime, Gucci Mane's next mixtape, 'Trap House 3,' will hit the Internet on May 21.
