A remix may be in the works for Beyonce's latest track, 'Bow Down,' produced by Hit Boy. On the controversial song, the Houston superstar repped her hometown: "Im at that H town, coming, coming down, I'm coming down / Get it on the ground," she sings.

Houston rappers are looking to make the track into an official Houston anthem. Slim Thug, Willie D, Scarface, Bun B, Kirko Bangz, and Lil KeKe will be on the 'Bow Down' remix, according to Fox Houston reporter Isiah Carey.

Carey wrote on his blog that he found out Wednesday (March 20) that a few Houston rappers were recording the remix and was told to keep it a secret.

But as all reporters do, Carey was waiting for the opportune time to share the news -- and he did.

"A nationally known rapper told me he and a long list of other entertainers would be in the studio in Houston recording a remix for Beyonce’s controversial new song 'Bow Down,'" Carey wrote.

A photo surfaced (shown above) of Willie D, Bun B, and Scarface at the studio recording, and that's when Carey broke his silence.

"I remained silent and did not say anything until someone at the studio started tweeting the photos like it was a family reunion," he added.

There has been no official word from Beyonce's camp about a remix, but if rumors are true, we should be hearing something pretty soon.
