Young Thug and Birdman may face charges for their alleged involvement in the shooting of Lil Wayne's tour bus new evidence of a leaked Birdman phone call is new evidence in Lil Wayne bus shooting case.

The Cobb County District Attorney's Office will decide whether to pursue charges against the rapper and record executive within the "next few weeks." The announcement was made in light of "new evidence" that surfaced in the civil suit involving the shooting.

Peewee Roscoe—a.k.a. Jimmy Carlton Winfrey—opened fire on Wayne's tour bus on Highway I-285. Roscoe eventually pled guilty in the case, and was given a 10-year prison sentence as well as 10 years of probation; however, he also claimed that he was unfairly singled out for the crime, as it was Birdman and Wayne's financial dispute that ultimately led to the shooting.
