Grammy Award-winning songbird Beyonce was among a bevy of artists who paid tribute to Trayvon Martin after the George Zimmerman acquittal Saturday night (July 13).

At the Nashville stop of her Mrs. Carter World Tour, Queen Bey remembered the late 17-year-old teen during her medley of Whitney Houston's timeless ballad, 'I Will Always Love You', backed by her song 'Halo.'

"I'd like to have a moment of silence for Trayvon," Beyonce told the 18,000 concertgoers at Bridgestone Arena before performing her rendition.

The Houston song was especially fitting given that country music star and Tennessee native Dolly Parton originally wrote the classic ballad.

Earlier that same day, Beyonce posted photos on her Tumblr page of her visit to the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. It's the place where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., became the co-pastor until his death in April 1968.
