ASAP Rocky and Rick Ross Appear in ASAP Ferg’s “East Coast” Video Featuring Remy Ma

A$AP Ferg is back with a brand new visual for "East Coast," his hyper-energetic new banger featuring Remy Ma. Directed by himself and Shomi Patwary, the video features plenty of interesting angles and compelling religious imagery.

In the beginning we see Ferg dressed in all red—like a cardinal in the Catholic church, maybe— as he stands atop a platform in what seems to be a massive cathedral. Surrounding him are a bunch of different people rocking all white. The "East Coast" instrumental begins playing just as Ferg rocks back with his arms extended horizontally like he's in an extra triumphant scene from Gladiator. 

The visual seemingly takes place in some sort of gothic building, if not a cathedral, but it also has the look of some sort of glossy, decked-out underground space, which is fitting since Ferg raps about "children of the sewer" and having a "rap bible" within the first four bars of his song.

Remy's dressed in nearly all white in the visual, and we're not sure if she's meant to represent the pope or anything like that, it would definitely fit in with the theme Ferg seemingly built earlier in the video.

Making cameos in the video are Ferg's fellow New Yorkers Flatbush Zombies, French Montana and A$AP Rocky. Rick Ross also pops up at one point in the visual. You can peep it for yourself below.
