Alliance For Positive Health Event Recap

Last week Alliance For Positive Health held there back to school and free HIV and STI testing event at Madison park. It was a nice day which made for a nice event.

Kids were playing in the park, the guys were on the basketball court and since we had the music everyone came for the vibes. At first it seemed like no one wanted any part of what was going on but that shortly changed once I got on the mic.

I had people coming over to participate in our dance and talent contest, the hulu hoop contest the knockout basket ball game, and even had a couple teens and young adults sign up to get tested and in return they got book bags filled with school supplies.

Albany Med was also in attendance with safe sex information and giveaways to the teens and young adults.
