R&B piano diva Alicia Keys offers a musical gem for her loving fans. 'Zebras and Airplanes' is yet another unreleased song that she's dropped through her online treasure vault.

Unlike her more empowering track, 'Power,' Keys decides to venture into a more dreamlike atmosphere.

The lullaby keys allow the songstress to heighten her tone to a more comforting level as she coos, "Have you ever wanna fly, have you ever wanna run away / Have you ever closed your eyes in a vision and it took you away?"

The songbird writes that she was inspired by art before the recording of this song.

"I wrote it five years ago when I was in the studio recording 'The Element Of Freedom,'" she says. "I had never been overcome to write a song after seeing a painting before, but this one sent me to another place. I felt it!"

Keys doesn't say the exact piece that inspired her, but it could've also inspired the song's cover, which provides a literal interpretation of the melodic ballad.
