Robin Thicke comes clean on why his marriage failed.

The entire time Robin Thicke was crying about losing his actress wife, Paula Patton, my only question was “Why?”

RadarOnline reports that during his court case against the Estate of Marvin Gaye, R&B crooner & Pop star revealed that he was extremely intoxicated on both Vicodin and alcohol during the recording of his biggest hit, “Blurred Lines”, and most of the last year. Thicke, along with producer Pharrell Williams, was being sued by the estate, claiming they used Marvin Gaye's 70's Classic Hit "Got To Give It Up."

Like many spouses, Patton grew tired of it and finally left her husband of close to 9 years.

Thicke admits he has since seeked help for his prescription pill addiction, but still does use alcohol.

I’m hoping that he’s able to get the help he needs and is able to get back to making good music.
