    4th of July at the Empire State Plaza

    Out in Albany, there will be a 4th of July celebration at the Empire State Plaza hosted by Price Chopper, which starts at 3pm and goes to 10pm. Over 30,000 people every year go to the Empire State Plaza to enjoy the holiday and all the food, crafts, and activities for the kids. The fireworks here will be starting at 9:15pm!

    A Good Old Fashion 4th of July Celebration

    Down in Windham, they’re having their ‘A Good Old Fashion 4th of July Celebration’, which goes from 2pm to 10pm. Before the celebration and parade starts up, you can enjoy just walking along Main Street and visiting all the side-walk sales and live music and entertainment. The parade will start at 7pm and the fireworks will be in the sky at 9pm.

    Tri-State Valley Cats vs The State College Spikes: Independence Day

    If watching a baseball game is more your style on the 4th of July, then try to get to Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy by 7pm. The Tri-City Valley Cats are playing against the State College Spikes for an Independence Day game.

    4th of July in the Clifton Park Commons

    If you are closer to Clifton Park, then you can head out the Clifton Commons for a small town 4th of July celebration. Events including a parade, rides, and live music will begin at noon.

    4th of July at Rogers Memorial Park

    Up in Bolton Landing, they will be having a 4th of July celebration in Rogers Memorial Park from 7pm to 10pm. There will be several forms of entertainment including: DJs, face painting, magicians, and obviously fireworks happening around 9pm.

    4th of July at the Cooperstown Farmer's Museum

    If you’re close to Cooperstown or are more into the history behind Independence Day, then make sure you head to the Farmer’s Museum which will be opening on July 4th and then everyday for the rest of the summer from 10am to 5pm. You will be able to watch a militia fire off their muskets and hear a reading of the Declaration of Independence.

    4th of July at the Hannaford Mills Museum

    Out in East Meredith from 10am to 5pm you can attend a 4th of July celebration at the Hanaford Mills. There will be all sorts of activities and games including crazy things like Frog Jumping contests. There will also be food and live music before the fireworks begin!
