2016 Miss Black and Gold Scholarship Pageant

Its time for this years Black And Gold Scholarship Pageant !

The University at Albany’s Rho Sigma chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity is concluding their recent Alpha week with the Miss Black and Gold Pageant.
Since 1991, The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity has sponsored this pageant spotlighting the poise, self-confidence, communication skills, intelligence, and beauty of women.

This year, eight contestants will exhibit their intelligence, talent, and beauty through a series of categories. The contestant will also be required to answer questions pertaining to current events and other political issues. A winner will be crowned and will move on to the District level of the competition.

Your ticket purchase includes catered food from local Carribbean restaurant Irie Vybez, an elegant after party, and the show of a life time.

The event will be held at Sixty State Place (60 State Street, Albany). Singles ($25) and Couples tickets ($45) Tickets are available online.
