2 Chainz announced on Twitter last night (Aug. 11) that his mixtape, which dropped last week, Daniel Son; Necklace Sonis set to become a cartoon mini-series.

The Atlanta rapper said it might be out as early as next week.

"Been working on this Daniel Son Necklace Don cartoon mini series," 2 Chainz teased on Twitter. "Hopefully I can drop it top of next week ...stay tuned."

The rapper didn't share any further details about the the basis of the cartoon, but it assumedly will surround the antics of the character featured on his mixtape, who seems to be inspired by "Daniel" affectionately called "Daniel, son" by his mentor in the 80s classic, The Karate Kid.  2 Chainz has also released a line of merchandise that features the character, which is available at trapavellistore.com.

You have to wonder how 2 Chainz is finding the time for a cartoon mini-series in the midst of everything else he has going on. The Atlanta rapper is also set to appear with at the Magnificent Coloring Day Festival with Chance the Rapper in September and he's slated to appear at Lil Wayne's second annual “Lil Weezyana Fest” in New Orleans later this month. On top of all of that, 2 Chainz is partnering with Hookah Hideaway owner Michael Dillard to open a restaurant in Atlanta. The new digs, Escobar Restaurant & Tapas, will serve as a club and lounge.
